My research focuses on Computational Systems and Synthetic Biology specifically the design of gene regulatory networks to induce desirable phenotypes in bacterial colonies. This research is supported by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and the Junta de Andalucia through the projects: Cellular Computing: Applications into Systems and Synthetic Biology (TIN2009-13192), Computational Modelling and Simulation in Systems Biology (P08-TIC-04200).
